Club Representatives are needed. If you or anyone you know are interested, please have them contact the office at 523-0261.

Competitive Play

HNSL board of directors has decided that starting this 2005/2006 seasonal year all competitive teams must participate in at least two Class I, II, or III tournaments. Additionaly competitive teams must participate either in NM State Cup or NM Cup.

Competitive teams are the teams that are not recreational: classic and premiere. Any team conducting a tryout or hand-picking players is a competitive team!

Teams wishing to register recreational must take players from the player pool until rosters are full. A bigger effort must be made to allow all kids who register with the league to participate! Please fill up your roster or be ready to accept children from the registration pool!

Dual registration rules will be applied more strictly this year so that children will only be allowed to dual register from a recreational team to a competitive team and not vice versa.

See NMYSA General Procedures and Rules for details. Class 1-3 tournaments are defined in NMYSA Travel & Tournament Manual. All details can be found at NMYSA's web page: http://www.nmysa.net

Mandatory Parent Association for Youth Sports (PAYS) Clinic Dates

The City is mandating that all parents attend a live clinic offered through the City of Las Cruces. The Training is set forth in the league agreements as a condition of setting City funds with 100% participation. You can take the clinic online at http://www.nays.org or attend one of the clinics at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley (clinic fee is $5.00):
For more information, check the announcement [ HERE ] or contact the Meerschiedt Recreation Center at 541-2563 .
